This directory contains subdirectories with benchmark results from research groups in the University of Utah Mathematics Department.
Because the benchmark programs represent snapshots of parts of current research by our faculty and post-doctoral fellows, the programs are not publicly available, except by special arrangement and agreement to not disclose or distribute the software further.
Several computer vendors already have received copies of these programs, and other vendors are equally welcome, in the hope that these programs can contribute to furthering the quality of high-performance computing hardware and software, by providing real applications that have a broader range of computational characteristics than limited loop kernels or LINPACK-style benchmarks have.
